NEW YORK  – The densely populated Interstate 95 corridor in the Northeast remained in the thick of a winter storm Monday night, as heavy snowfall caused power outages and shut down vaccination sites throughout the region. 
The heaviest accumulations are yet to come in some places. Parts of New England are forecast to see more than foot of snow by the time the storm tapers off Wednesday evening, the National Weather Service said.
