Queenslanders should delay packing away the beach and camping gear this weekend, with glorious clear skies and warmer temperatures returning for a brief encore.
Sceptics would struggle to find fault in the forecast weather for the next few days, with sunny skies, light winds and low chances of rain predicted until mid-next week.
Weather bureau senior meteorologist Jonty Hall said weather patterns had rearranged a bit after the thunderstorms that rolled through the southeast in the past few days, and most of Queensland should experience idyllic temperatures and sunshine.
