Winter businesses, environment on thin ice as Great Lakes ice coverage hits historic low

Ice coverage on the Great Lakes has dipped to its lowest levels in at least 50 years, according to a new report from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's (NOAA) Great Lakes Environmental Research Laboratory (GLERL).
