A WINSFORD pensioner will face trial after denying a string of historic sex offences.
Christopher Rollings, of Wharton Road, appeared at Stockport Magistrates Court on May 20, where he denied a total of 17 charges.
The 75-year-old is charged with multiple counts of rape against three different girls, who were all under the age of 16 at the time, as well as several charges of indecent assault and inciting acts of gross indecency.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Macclesfield over a period of years ranging from 1968 to 1983.
As well the 12 historic sex charges, Rollings is also faced with recent allegations that he was in possession of dozens of indecent images of children ranging between category A and C.
