Winnersh: Residents asked to review plan for new homes and SEND school

PUBLIC consultation has opened for residents as plans to build a SEND school and homes in Winnersh are released this week.
The plans, produced by the Wokingham Borough Council (WBC), show how the site would be made to accommodate a new Special Educational Needs and Disabilities school, up to 100 new homes and incorporates open space.
Residents have now been invited to review the plans, and give comments to the council on their thoughts.
Cllr Stuart Munro, executive member for business and economic development, said: “In early 2020 we identified Winnersh Farm as a site for new housing and consulted on this use in the Local Plan Update.
