A MAN spat on his girlfriend after an argument, a court heard.
Magistrates were told Michal Nowichi was angry after his partner's friends left 'a bit of a mess' following a party at their home in Windermere.
The 30-year-old, of Main Road, admitting a charge of assaulting Laura Caney on August 13 when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court in Barrow.
Prosecutor Lee Dacre said Nowichi was intoxicated.
“The defendant had come home and there was an argument between them,” Mr Dacre said.
“After this the complainant went to make a cup of tea, following which the defendant spat at her, and that spit landed on her face.”
