Gujarat witnesses record wind power generation of 119.86 million units in a single day, contributing to meeting the state's increasing electricity demand. The state has a total installed capacity of 10,660MW for wind energy and 11,028MW for solar energy. Favorable wind conditions and renewable energy policies have attracted investments, leading to high levels of electricity generation. Expectations are for continued high wind power generation till the end of July.
