CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Brent Rinehart of The Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte joined Wilson to talk about their Welcome Home Baskets and their Save-a-Seat bus pass program Homelessness is a major problem in Charlotte, so to help those people, the Salvation Army is working to move those people into apartments and help them gain employment.
Once in an apartment, the Welcome Home Baskets provide essentials needed for having a clean home. Donors are asked to pick up a laundry basket and fill it with he cleaning items. A list of the items needed for the Welcome Home Baskets can be found HERE.
