The shift online has forced once reluctant seniors to learn how to use technology, said Jim Fish, the president and CEO of Brunswick Senior Resources, Inc.
The organization has leaned on Zoom, Facebook Live and YouTube to provide programming during the pandemic. Still, Fish said he worries about the effects of the isolation and fear that many Brunswick County seniors have faced during the pandemic.
"We're constantly worried about isolation, depression, despair," he said. "It's more than just not being able to have frequent interaction with other people. It's also this fear of this very unknown virus and what the true effects could be."
