There’s good news for those who want to skip the rest of the 5-8 regular season and get to the 49ers’ offseason roster intrigue: You don’t have to wait until March to find out their plan for a Pro Bowl player who is one of the best in NFL history at his position.
Kicker Robbie Gould, 38, who ranks fifth all-time in field-goal percentage, signed a four-year, $19 million deal in 2019 with an option clause that could make it a two-year contract.
