Update:
Ice pellets and a wintry mix with snow was seen falling in the northern parts of Bexar County near the Timberwood Park and Stone Oak areas.
A winter weather advisory was issued for northern portions of Bexar, Guadalupe and Caldwell Counties by the U.S. national weather service at 12:32 p.m. The advisory will be in effect until midnight.
