Will Green River be home to a new lithium mine to help U.S. go 'green'?

A planned lithium mine at a former military site in Green River is working its way through the permitting process and is expected to produce 10,000 tons of the vital chemical element vital for electric vehicle batteries, cell phones and lap tops per year. If approved, it could help break open the U.S. market for the material.
