As the use of drones continues to grow worldwide, so does a Wichita-based agricultural drone company.
AgEagle announced on Monday its acquisition of Measure Global, an aerial intelligence company that builds software to automate drone operations workflows. Through an approximately $45 million purchase, AgEagle significantly expands its drone capabilities.
AgEagle started out in 2010 in Neodesha, moving its production to Wichita last fall.
"The acquisition of Measure expands our team and brings us another best-in-class technology to the AgEagle platform that will enable us to offer the most advanced end-to-end drone solutions to agricultural, commercial and industrial customers across the state, the nation and the world,” said Michael Drozd, CEO of AgEagle.
