While the ebullient social media and PR world gets ever-more fixated with electric cars, the simple art of saving hydrocarbon fuel seems to have fallen out of favour. What about old technology; small engines, light weight? And even two wheels? Could these be interim solutions before battery-electric actually posits a sustainable and affordable single-vehicle ownership future for the majority?
