Why doesn't my vaccination count in BC?
As of yesterday, 2,927,487 people have received at least one dose of COVID vaccine in BC.
However, while fully vaccinated, Debra McAdam and Scott Bridge of Kelowna are not counted in that number.
The catch is the couple got their first and follow up jabs of Pfizer while wintering in Phoenix on March 7 and 29 as part of the Arizona state vaccination program.
BC's data is strictly linked to the province's supply of vaccine, so only the number of first and second doses administered in BC are counted, according to the BC Ministry of Health.
