The Queen's Wharf Lighthouse predates Confederation and is one of two surviving 19th century lighthouses in Toronto. It helped guide 300,000 vessels into Toronto Harbour before it was decommissioned in 1911. The lighthouse is now landlocked and surrounded by roads and streetcar tracks on Fleet Street where it was moved in 1929.
