The Santa Clarita Valley wears its Western film heritage proudly, from its Walk of Western Stars in Old Town Newhall to the annual Cowboy Festival. But even amongst the movie ranches and famed backdrops of “Hollywood North,” there are hidden pockets of history, remembered only by the families of those unsung men and women who made their living in the early days of the film industry.
