WHL Roundup: Blazers hold on to beat struggling Royals 3-2

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Fraser Minten's power-play goal midway through the third period proved to be the difference as the Kamloops Blazers edged the Victoria Royals 3-2 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.
Matthew Seminoff and Connor Zary also scored to help the Blazers (10-2-0) to a third straight win.
Brayden Schuurman and Brandon Cutler found the back of the net for the Royals (1-11-1), who are on an eight-game skid.
Kamloops netminder Dylan Ernst only had to make 14 saves for the win. Adam Evanoff kicked out 31-of-34 shots for Victoria.
