Whistleblowers are raising concerns about the quality of food being served to members of the National Guard who are stationed in Washington, D.C. One source sent photos of moldy and undercooked food to
WLUC and said that the food has made several troops sick.
According to
The Detroit News, another soldier echoed those complaints in a letter to a lawmaker.
"Multiple soldiers have been getting sick and vomiting after eating, and most of the food is being thrown away," one soldier wrote in a message to a lawmaker. "Morale is very bad; many have served overseas and cannot believe the quality of food they are being fed here."
