Apple's Project Titan is a long-term electric autonomous vehicle project. Apple has dozens if not hundreds of patents and has hired high profile professionals to move the project along. The entire autonomous vehicle industry still struggles with sensors that don't deliver data correctly and have caused hundreds of crashes a year. While Project Titan is having early successes, it also has some annoying sensor hiccups.
