Coming in at number 10 is the Blackrock World Energy fund.
One of four energy-focused funds to make the list of Q1 standouts, Alastair Bishop and Mark Hume’s fund returned an impressive 18.2% over the period, according to data from FE Fundinfo.
Ryan Hughes, head of active portfolios at AJ Bell, said the prevalence of energy funds in the top 10 performers reflects “the optimism that exists that the global economy can start healing after the painful effect of the last year of lockdowns.”
