MAPLE GROVE, MN — Maple Grove kids ages 12 to 15 can begin receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine after the Centers for Disease Control provided final authorization Wednesday.
The new age group is eligible for Pfizer shots at Minnesota's CVS, Hy-Vee, Walgreens, and Walmart pharmacies. The Pfizer vaccine is currently the only COVID-19 vaccine that is set to receive approval for people ages 12 to 15.
Parent or guardian consent is required for COVID-19 vaccination for people under 18.
