He framed the shot: Catalina Island in the distance, rocks in the foreground, then the ocean, and the sunset. And then the magic happened. (Brenton Hamilton)
MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Sometimes it's the little unexpected pleasures that can turn a good day into a great day! Such was the case for Brenton Hamilton who got a terrific shot in Palos Verdes when he was on his way to pick up his 9-month-old son who was being taken care of by his grandparents.
Shot with a Sony A7iii with Sony 24-105mm f/4 lens (ISO 100, 24mm, f/4, 1/125 secs) and developed with Luminar, the Redondo Beach man told Manhattan Beach Patch, "I wanted to frame the sunset with rocks in the foreground and Catalina in the distance. I wasn't expecting this cloud structure to unfold so that was a pleasant addition."
