The Met Office has extended its weather warnings for snow and ice in northern Lincolnshire saying “widespread daily accumulations are probable” as ‘feel-like’ temperatures drop as low as -8C in chilly easterly winds.
The forecaster’s two yellow-level alerts for our region now cover a 93-hour period between 3pm on Saturday and noon on Wednesday.
The latest alert says “snow showers may lead to disruption to travel in places” though some areas may avoid them.
