HIGHLIGHTS
Clothed in Resilience is a visual diary expressing peoples’ journeys to reclamation after experiencing sexual violence. The photography exhibition includes images juxtaposed with articulations that capture the essence of healing and recovery.
Alana Cartwright, a visual artist based in Cleveland, anticipates graduating from Cleveland State University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in studio art, a minor in Spanish, and a primary concentration in photography. Especially interested in conceptual work and street photography, she focuses on the complexities of the human condition, frequently using the human figure to do so.
