The keto-friendly chaffle is the perfect foundation for a variety of easy meals. The simple combination of egg and cheese creates an expediently better-than-expected “waffle.”
In an odd way, the finished product tastes nothing like the ingredients. Add seasoning, swap cheeses, add toppings and produce meals that are low in carbs, high in protein, and surprisingly tasty. The addition of almond or coconut flour produces more of a bread texture without changing taste. The end result can be sweet or savory, sandwich or open face, breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner.
