54% of Europeans are aiming to travel within the next six months according to a new report. The news comes from the âMonitoring Sentiment for Domestic and Intra-European Travel â Wave 5â report. Published by the European Travel Commission, the report aims to monitor the impact of COVID-19 on citizen's travel plans. The report found that 54% of Europeans are hoping to travel either domestically or to another European country by July. The report also found that 1 in 3 Europeans believe that the most feasible period for their next trip is between May and June. The majority of respondents said they would feel more relaxed if their destination had strict health and safety protocols. Spain and Italy were the most popular destinations among European travelers.
