The UK and European Union (EU) are on the cusp of signing a trade deal nearly four years after the 2016 referendum result. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to announce on Thursday a trade deal has been reached between the two sides, and will come into force on January 1 when the transition period officially ends. This agreement comes as good news to most after months of fraught and tense negotiations between Britain and the Bloc. But as a deal is on the verge of coming into play, people have been left wondering how the new legislation will affect different parts of every day life – including house prices.
