Wichita Falls Police released information on the suspect in Wednesday night's shooting on the city's northside.
WFPD spokesman Sgt. Charlie Eipper said detectives have obtained two warrants for a suspect police believe was involved in a shooting that sent 22-year-old Traveon Teague to the hospital Wednesday night.
Eipper said warrants have been issued for Kody Valadez, 21, for two counts of Aggravated Assault.
According to a WFPD press release:
Officers were dispatched about 5:45 p.m. to investigate a shooting call in the 2800 block of Roanoke Drive. They found Teague behind 2813 Roanoke with a gunshot wound.
Teague was transported to URHCS by ambulance and went into surgery. Teague’s wounds are serious, but he is expected to survive.
