Westmeath resident Laurette Couturier turning 100 years young April 26

Although the milestone occasion will be marked by little fanfare due to COVID restrictions, her family is looking forward to gathering and honouring Laurette when safe to do so. WESTMEATH – A lifelong resident of the village is marking a milestone birthday April 26.
Laurette Couturier, daughter of Alex and Mina (nee Gagnon) Ethier, was born April 26, 1921 at the home of her grandparents, Edward and Celina Ethier on the Bromley Line. When she was five years old, her family moved to the main street of Westmeath where she grew up and next door to the home where she lives today with her daughter Lynn Dupuis.
