WESTMEATH – A lifelong resident of the village is marking a milestone birthday April 26.
Laurette Couturier, daughter of Alex and Mina (nee Gagnon) Ethier, was born April 26, 1921 at the home of her grandparents, Edward and Celina Ethier on the Bromley Line. When she was five years old, her family moved to the main street of Westmeath where she grew up and next door to the home where she lives today with her daughter Lynn Dupuis.
