West Tripura: Allegations of irregularities in recent Tripura elections dismissed by State Election Commission

​​According to official data, in Part no-44 of Mazlishpur, there were 545 voters but 574 votes cast, and in Part no-44 of Khayerpur, 1290 voters were registered but 1292 votes were recorded. Similar irregularities were found in Part no-25 of Khayerpur and Part no-38 of Mohanpur. Jiten called for the annulment of elections in both constituencies and a fresh, fair re-election.
