West Point cadet from Langhorne selected team leader for skills contest

WEST POINT, NY — Cadet Parker Minotti, of Langhorne, squad leader of Company D-3 at West Point and member of the class of 2021, was selected to serve as a team captain for the 52nd historic Sandhurst Military Skills Competition, held Friday and Saturday at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.  
A field of 44 teams competed in the event that represented 25 U.S. Military Academy teams, 16 Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC), and three U.S. service academies. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, international teams were not eligible to participate in this year’s event, but they will be allowed to compete next year.
