POLICE have urged parents to warn their children about the dangers of playing near railways lines, following a number of incident across Fife.
British Transport Police said a number of incidents have been recorded recently where children are caught playing on live railway lines, therefore risking injury and death.
One such incident occurred on July 7 when a train driver reported two juveniles trespassing behind Asda in Dunfermline.
While on July 9 CCTV reported a young female climbed onto the tracks at Rosyth Railway Station to recover a bag she dropped onto the railway lines.
Most recently on July 17 CCTV reported two youths trespassing at Aberdour Railway Station.
