A WEST Cumbrian man subjected his former wife to 'constant harassment' which was mentally draining.
Gary James Ackerley, 50, has had to serve longer and longer jail terms as a result of him repeatedly flouting a restraining order designed to prevent him having contacting his former wife in Maryport, Carlisle Crown Court heard.
He committed his latest offence on February 13, turning up at former wife's home in Bounty Avenue, Maryport.
Despite not having any property at the address, he knocked on the front door and asked for his fishing rods.
