The unlicensed driver who allegedly lost control of his car and killed two young boys in the NSW Central West on Tuesday was spared any penalty for a previous unlicensed driving offence in 2018.
Jacob Donn, 25, was refused bail during a brief court appearance in Dubbo on Thursday. He is facing 14 charges following the crash that killed Sheldon and Shane Shorey, aged 6 and 7, in the town of Wellington on Tuesday.

The crash, which allegedly occurred as the man was doing burnouts and doughnuts on the quiet suburban street, also injured the boys' mother, Shayleen Frail, and two other children.
