A recent news article featured the news that a local organization has managed to secure half of the signatures needed for a possible referendum to be held about the Western Cape seceding from South Africa and becoming a republic in its own right.
This caught Carl Wastie's attention and got him thinking, what if this does happen?
Would we as residents of the Western Cape be ready to move on and have the necessary steps in place to become a new republic.
