Charities in Ireland and across the globe have suffered financially as most of their fundraising plans have been halted due to COVID-19.
2020 has been an incredibly difficult year for many local charities, who are also facing a greater demand for their services, at the same time as dealing with a shortfall in funds.
So in order to help out, the team at VIDA Living donated €2,500 to Women's Aid Dundalk, just in time for Christmas.
Staff at VIDA Living also put together a 'Giving Tree' to support the work of Women's Aid. The 'Giving Tree' facilitated the donation of items such as clothing, bedding and toiletries identified by Women's Aid as needed or in short supply, for use throughout the year by Women's Aid Dundalk in its work with women and children impacted by domestic abuse and coercive control.
