Weekly Fishing Report: Feb. 17, 2021
Los Alamos Daily Post
New Mexico was slammed with a blast of Arctic air straight out of the North Pole over the weekend. Record-breaking cold temperatures covered the entire Eastern half of the state from Clayton to Carlsbad.
It’s a good bet that any body of water in this part of the state froze, including lakes and ponds that normally never would see ice. A second snowstorm added several more inches of snow Tuesday morning to areas of Central and Southern New Mexico. Best to check on road and fishing conditions before planning a fishing trip this week.
