MARCH IS NOT ALL THAT UNUSUAL THE MARK A FEW YEARS AGO. WE HAD MORE THAN A FOOT OF SNOW IN MARCH. YEAH, WE CAN GET BIG RANGES AND GET VERY LITTLE SNOW SOMETIMES IN MARCH AND SOMETIMES WE GET A WHOLE LOT. SO LET’S TAKE YOU BACK TEEN WITH 13.6 INCHES THAT MONTH. WE’RE NOT GOING TO GET ANYTHING LIKE THAT FOR TONIGHT, BUT I THINK MOST AREAS PICKING UP ONE TO THREE INCHES ON AVERAGE. WE DO GET SEVEN INCHES OF SNOW IN MARCH. THE NICE THING IS IN MARCH. IT MELTS AWAY SO FAST, YOU DON’T EVEN HAVE TO GO AND SHOVEL IT. IT WILL GO AWAY ON ITS OWN THROUGHOUT THE DAY TOMORROW. IT’S BEEN A VERY WARM MONTH SO FAR TODAY WAS ONE OF THE EXCEPTIONS WE’VE GOT THREE DAYS BELOW AVERAGE EVERY OTHER DAY. IT’S BEEN ABOVE AVERAGE INCLUDING JUST TWO DAYS AGO WAS 60 DEGREES. AND NOW OF COURSE WE’VE GOT COMING DOWN WINTER WEATHER ADVISOR OVER ALL OF SOUTHEASTERN WISCONSIN EXCEPT FOR FOND DU LAC AND SHEBOYGAN COUNTY THAT GOES INTO ONE O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING TONIGHT. SO KEEP THAT IN MIND. WE’RE ALREADY SEEING SOME SLICK SPOTS OUT THERE. MOST OF THE MAIN ROADS ARE DOING PRETTY GOOD WIND. THAT’S WHAT YOU SEE ON THE BOTTOM HERE IN THOSE CIRCLES WINS OUT OF THE EAST AND IT’S STILL BEEN HOWLING AND THAT’S ONE OF THE REASONS WHY WE’VE KEPT SOME OF THE SNOW AT BAY SO FAR BECAUSE AT EASTERLY WIND IS BRINGING IN DRIER AIR TEMPERATURE WISE HOVERING RIGHT AROUND FREEZING THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE EVENING AND OVERNIGHT HOURS AND AGAIN SEEING THAT LIGHT SNOW AND EVEN A MIX AT TIMES AND THEN TEMPERATURES GETTING A LITTLE BIT BETTER AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE DAY FOR TOMORROW HEAVIEST BAND OF SNOW WORKING ITS WAY RIGHT THROUGH PARTS OF JEFFERSON COUNTY THROUGH SOUTHERN WAUKESHA COUNTY NORTH AND RACINE COUNTY AND NOW PUSHING INTO SOUTHERN MILWAUKEE COUNTY. THIS WILL COAT THE GROUND FOR SURE AND WATCH OUT AS THE SUN SET TONIGHT CLOSER TO SEVEN O CLOCK BECAUSE OF COURSE WE’VE HAD OUR TIME CHANGE WHEN THAT HAPPENS. THERE’S A BETTER CHANCE OF SEEING SOME OF THIS ACCUMUL. NOT JUST ON THE GRASS, BUT ALSO ON YOUR SIDEWALKS AND STREETS AS WELL, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU GET THE HEAVIEST SNOW BANDS THAT ARE ROLLING THROUGH RIGHT NOW. IT HAS BEEN A WHOLE LOT OF MILWAUKEE VERY FEW JUST A FEW LITTLE FLAKES HERE AND THERE THAT’S GOING TO BE CHANGING THOUGH, ALTHOUGH THERE’S NOT A WHOLE LOT OF ACTION DOWN TO THE SOUTH OF US. SO A GENERAL ONE TO THREE MOST OF THAT’LL BE ON THE GRASSY SURFACES THE THREE INCH TOTALS PROBABLY BETTER CHANCE OF BEING AWAY FROM THE LAKE WHERE TEMPERATURES HAVE BEEN A LITTLE BIT COLDER BETWEEN NOW AND NINE O’CLOCK. WE’LL GET THAT SNOW NINE O’CLOCK TO MIDNIGHT THINK KIND OF CALMS DOWN A LITTLE BIT SNOW BECOMES LIGHTER COULD BE A LITTLE DRIZZLE IN THEIR PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE AFTER MIDNIGHT AS WELL, BUT THAT SHOULD BE ALL GONE BY ABOUT THREE O’CLOCK IN THE MORNING. SHOULDN’T BE TOO MANY PROBLEMS OUT ON AREA ROADS FOR TOMORROW. JUST KEEP THAT IN MIND. MAYBE IF YOU’RE JUST ON YOUR SIDEWALKS AND YOUR DRIVEWAYS DON’T LIKELY GOING TO BE SLICK OUT THERE. BUT AT LEAST WE’RE CALMING THINGS DOWN STILL NONETHELESS. THERE’LL BE SOME IMPACT AS WE HEAD THROUGHOUT THE REST OF THE OVERNIGHT HOURS WITH A CHANCE OF SEEING. IT’S A WHITEOUT AT OAK CREEK NOT REALLY CAMERAS NOT COOPERATING 31 DEGREES RIGHT NOW IN DREXELTOWN SQUARE JUST SAW THIS PICTURE MOMENTS AGO. AND YES, THE GROUND IS COVERED THERE IN IN OAK CREEK COVERED HERE AT LAKE LAW. WORD. THE NICE THING IS WE CAN SEE ALL OF OUR CAMERAS NOW ALL THE TIME BECAUSE WE GET TO GO ALL THE WAY THROUGH SEVEN. BEFORE IT STARTS TO GET DARK 33 DEGREES. JUST SEEING SOME LIGHT SNOW RIGHT NOW STARTING AT DISCOVERY WORLD IN MILWAUKEE. THIS WILL CONTINUE LOOK AT THOSE FLAGS FLYING A STRONG EASTERLY WIND CONTINUES TEMPERATURES INLAND AS I MENTIONED A LITTLE BIT COOLER. THAT’S WHERE WE’RE GOING TO SEE MORE OF THOSE PROBLEMS ON AREA ROADS, ESPECIALLY ON THE SECONDARY AND SIDE STREETS. WE DO HAVE SNOW COVERED ROADS ALONG I-9 I-43 THE ROCK FREEWAY. LET’S GO INTO FUTURECAST AND WATCH IS THE SNOW ROTATES UP TO THE NORTH STILL HANGING ON SOME PINK SHADES IN HERE AS WELL. THAT COULD BE SOME OF THAT FREEZING DRIZZLE THEN AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW LOTS OF CLOUD COVER AROUND NOT THE PRETTIEST OF DAYS, BUT IT’S NOT GOING TO BE AS WINDY AS IT WAS TODAY AND WE’LL STILL MELT THE SNOW EVEN WITH THE CLOUD COVER. I DON’T THINK THERE’S GONNA BE MUCH SNOW LEFT AT ALL MOST PLACES AGAIN PICKING UP ABOUT AN INCH OR TWO THEN AS WE HEAD INTO TOMORROW NIGHT ANOTHER CHANCE FOR A LITTLE RAIN OR SNOW. IT SHOULD BE ON THE LIGHT SIDE. TROUBLE 40 42 DEGREES AGAIN A CHANCE FOR MIX LATE ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT. OF COURSE SAINT PATRICK’S DAY. 43 DEGREES YOUR HIGH TEMPERATURE ON THURSDAY WITH A LITTLE EARLY MIX AGAIN NOT EXPECTING THAT TO BE TROUBLE AND THEN JUST IN TIME FOR THE START OF SPRING ON SATURDAY LOOKS GREAT 50 55 DEGREES ON SUNDAY. SO WE GET THROUGH THIS WEEK THE WEATHER’S KIND OF CRUMMY, BUT THEN WE MAKE IT TO THE WEEKE
