GEORGE TOWN: Businesswoman Jean Ang headed to a mall to pick up her new contact lenses but she was stopped by the security guard and told that the mall had to close for three days for sanitisation.
“It looks like I’ll have to be patient for a few more days, ” said Ang, 28.
She was among the shoppers who were unaware that three shopping malls here had been listed in the Hotspot Identification for Dynamic Engagement (HIDE) system used by the government to detect Covid-19 hotspots.
