It all comes as some lawmakers urge Republican Leadership to take up legislation protecting mueller from being fired. But there seems to be some disagreement within the gop about whether thats even necessary. Ive got legislation protecting mr. Mueller and ill be glad to pass it tomorrow. It would certainly wouldnt hurt to put that extra safeguard in place given the latest stories. I dont think there is ray need for legislation right now to protect mueller. Police have arrested a man suspected of pointing a laser at a california Highway Patrol helicopter in oakland. The helicopter was responding to a report of multiple illegal side shows in the city early sunday. Authorities say up to 200 vehicles were involved in the side show along with reports of fireworks and gunshots. The chopper monitored from a safe distance but police say it was struck by green laser light multiple times. The crew was able to find the suspect and ground units later arrested him.
