A group of teens beat the 57yearold in mayfair. They left him bleeding and unconscious with his pockets turned out. He died at the hospital last monday morning. The three teenagers still await formal charges. Is bulletproof glass an insult or a protective an important protective measure for a restaurant . Thats a question at the center of a Philadelphia City Council Hearing today. City leaders are expected to hear testimony and a proposal that would force some restaurants to get rid of protective barriers. Today School Officials in Mercer County plan to meet with students to talk about a former teacher now charged with having sex with a student. Alyssia reddy taught at the pennington school. She met a 16yearold student in a park in bucks county for sex. Reddy recently moved to baltimore to work at another school. Thats where authorities arrested her on saturday. Police say reddy gave the student her cell phone number and then added him on snapchat in december of last year. Authorities in baltimore are Holding Reddy while she waits to be extradited to pennsylvania. Meanwhile at the jersey shore, the coast guard rescued a 92yearold man at sea yesterday. He was on a fishing boat about five miles off the coast of Atlantic City. The man was having heart issues when he called for help. The paramedics waiting on shore took the man to an Atlantic City hospital in stable condition. The wave of Sexual Assault allegations in media and entertainment now includes new yorks metropolitan opera. The met suspended its famed longtime Conductor James Levine yesterday while it investigates reports of sexual misconduct. Levine is one of the worlds most famous conductors. At 74, he spent most of his career at the met. The claims against levine involve a 2016 Police Report in unemployed revealing allegations that he abused a teenage boy. Levines accuser says the abuse began in 1985 at a summer Music Festival and continued for years. The New York Times has identified the times has identified at least two other victims. The met says its deeply disturbed by reports against levine, and their relationship with the conductor is suspended. That means levine will not be involved in any met activities including conducting scheduled performances at the met this season.
