And firefighters in Delaware County spent better part of three hours last night putting out a fire at a home in Upper Providence township. We saw smoke pouring from the home at hunt club lane. Firefighters cut holes in the roof to stop the flames from spreading further. No one was hurt. Happening today, the man accused of killing a young father at an applebees in Mercer County faces a judge for a detention hearing. Noah powell walked into the restaurant earlier and shot devin smith who was by himself. It is unclear of the motive and if the two knew each other. Greg schiano coaches at ohio state. He was denied the job over outrage over his work with Jerry Sandusky in the 90s. Sandusky is serving prison time for molesting boys. Schiano said he never saw nor suspected abuse during his time at penn state. I can confidently say greg schiano had nothing to do with the sandusky scandal. Any stories about his involvement are uncorroborated and without basis in fact. To impugn mr. Schianos character based on hearsay alone is irresponsible and unfair.
