A car jumped a curb and crashed into a building there. Law enforcement from several agencies have been surrounding that particular spot. We have also seen officers going around with police dogs block by block. At one point, one officer was carrying a bag of clothes for the dogs to pick up a scent. Police arrived at the scene in cobbs creek to find a man shot in the chest three times lawing next to his car laying next to his car wearing a ski mask. It happened before 2 00 a. M. On ellsworth street. The 26yearold lives in the neighborhood. Witnesses say they saw a man run from the scene. Police are trying to track down a gunman who murdered a young father inside a Mercer County applebees. Authorities say someone shot devin smith in the head as he grabbed a drink at the bar at the restaurant in lawrenceville yesterday. The gunman ran off. Close friends gathered at the applebees to light candles in honor of smith who they call the life of the party. A great person. A great friend. A great partner. They were always so happy and lively. Y i dont know who could have done it. The mercer Sheriffs Office says they have promising leads, but so far police have made no arrests. Federal investigators say a Safety Culture that was weak led to an amtrak crash in chester that killed two maintenance workers last year. The Salvation Army will hold a special event at the shops at Liberty Place in center city today to launch a donation drive. Culinary Arts Training Program has placed 90 of its students in jobs in the greater philadelphia area. We talked to one woman whos been in the program for two months.
