So youre going to start with some clouds but you will see more sunshine breaking through in the afternoon. Take a look at the temperature trend over our morning hours. Well go from freezing to about 37 degrees at 9 00 a. M. And by lunch time up to 43. That is already warmer than the high we hit yesterday. Now to breaking news that were following, one man is dead after gunfire erupts just outside of a nightclub in philadelphias feltonville neighborhood. Two others were also shot. Nbc 10s Randy Gyllenhaal is live on the scene with more on this investigation. Still a very active scene out there, randy. Reporter police are still here. They say bullets started flying outside of the a lounge nightclub just before 4 00 this morning in feltonville. If we zoom in you can see detectives still on scene. Weve been watching police and officers going in and out of the nightclub gathering evidence. This is a triple shooting but also a homicide investigation. Police say the suspect, 27 years old, was outside the club when, for some reason, he opened fire kill a 37yearold man and injuring another 24yearold. At some point during this Gunfire Police say the clubs Security Guard came out, saw what was happening, and that guard shot the suspect in the leg and the groin, effectively ending the threat. That Security Guard is now being interviewed by Philadelphia Police. And authorities tell us this suspect is in custody alive despite being shot twice. The suspect was taken to temple hospital in stable condition. We should also note this 4200 block of mcallister street is quite familiar to Philadelphia Police in the past three years weve tracked at least three shooting incidents including two homicides. So the investigation here continues. For now were in feltonville. Im Randy Gyllenhaal, nbc 10 news. This morning Philadelphia Police are busy. In this case theyre using Surveillance Video to track down a masked gunman who shot a man at point blank range right outside of this corner store. Police were called to West Huntington street in north philly just before 7 00 last night where they found the 24yearold victim. He had been shot three times. The victim and another man were standing outside of the corner store here when investigators say somebody wearing a mask walked up to the victim and started shooting. The video i seen appears the victim was the intended target from the door because the two mal males, the shooter only concentrated on the one victim. That victim remains in Critical Condition this morning at Temple University hospital. A fight over a tv leads to a police shooting. It all started around 2 00 yesterday morning inside of a row home on south 29th street in grays ferry. Police were called to the house when four people inside started fighting about the television not working. Officers say they tried to calm the situation but one of the men lunged at the officers with a knife. Thats when a Police Sergeant opened fire. The man is now in Critical Condition. Oh, my god. Route 202 in Chester County is back open after this fiery crash that killed one person, injured several others, and caused a tractortrailer to go up in flames. It all started with a campaign reaction involving eight other cars. It ended with the tractortrailer, which was hauling frozen turkeys, to become engulfed in flames. One witness was shaken by the whole incident. Its upsetting, very upsetting, and i feel very grateful that myself and children are okay. But its sad. Very sad. Police have not said how the crash happened or if speed may have been a factor here. The wreck shut down the stretch of 202 forcing drivers to take a detour which lasted 12 hours into the evening. Princeton is cooler, 22. Thats not a surprise. Thats one the colder spots we see. This is the nice wide view. We have this kind of blanket of clouds overhead across pretty much the entire region. The thick, ominous clouds that bring rain. You can tell theres no rain heading our direction but, instead, its that milky sky that lays overhead and makes for a grayish color. Not going to be bringing us any rain today and, in fact, will thin out some as we get to the afternoon bringing us partly cloudy conditions later on. Today a forecast high of 48 degrees. So thats a little better off than yesterday but its still pretty cold still ten degrees lower than average. The average this time of year is 58. Well be at 50 monday. Well pick that temperature up and 52 by tuesday. Also know the overnight lows are going to start warming up as well. A Chain Reaction involving eight other cars led a tractortrailer hauling frozen turkeys to crash and become engulfed in flames. The black smoke started coming up. Started to see people run from all directions. People were getting out of cars. Police have not said how or why the crash happened. It shut down that stretch of 202 for more than 12 hours forcing drivers to take detours well into the night. Again, the road has now reopened in both directions. New this morning two women are getting checked out at the hospital after being hit by a car in east mt. Airy. It happened around 3 30 this morning. Fill police say the women suffered back injuries and other bumps and bruises. Investigators are now looking for the driver of a white van or su that sped away. A crash killed one person in willingboro, burlington county, overnight just after 1 00 this morning. The driver apparently hit a tree. Theres no word yet on what led up to this crash. This Morning Police are searching for a masked gunman who walked up and shot a man just outside of this corner store in north philly. Officers were called to West Huntington street where they found the 24yearold victim shot three times. This morning he is in Critical Condition. The gunman ran off. Police think two men who used a brick to beat and rob a penn student are also responsible for other similar crimes. 18yearold Dajuan Dantzler turned self in. 20yearold lance ryan was arrested earlier this week. The two suspects use brick to beat a penn grad student, fracturing his skull before robbing him. Police think they did the same thing in two other robberies. That investigation continues. The boy in the box case is the citys longest unsolved but still open investigation. Now an eagle scout has come up with a way to remember the little boy murdered and dumped on a philadelphia street nearly 60 years ago. Yesterday an historic roadside marker was unveiled in fox chase where the boy in the box was found. The marker was the idea of an scout from wilmington. In 1957 the unidentified boy was found dead in a Cardboard Box naked,ered and bruised. He hopes this marker will lead to new clues to one day solve the case. Today the museum of the American Revolution will be wrapping up its Veterans Day Weekend celebration in old city.
