Four Philadelphia Police officers are hurt after their suvs collided and slammed into a utility pole and rowhouse. The officers were responding to a road rage shooting in kensington when they crashed. Weve been live near that scene all afternoon. You can still see some of that aftermath. Reporter crews cleaned up most of the intersection here. It was a mess for most of the day. Surveillance video shows one police suv speeding down this road here as it collided with another suv coming in this direction. A witness says it sounded like a grenade exploded. This Surveillance Video shows what led to the t bone crash which hurt four officers. The impact happened just off screen. As one cop raced down indiana avenue it struck another on d street. Police say the officers were on the way to a nearby shooting. It was the biggest boom i ever hurt. Reporter john was riding through the neighborhood when the suvs collided. I seen the one officer jump out. Jump in the back of the car, his face was all bloody. The one cop that was on the pavement he was still inside the car, he couldnt get out. He did a thumbs up to the other officers. Reporter the impact ripped the front end of one marked suv and sent the other one into a house. Car parts were scattered in the street. A utility pole fell apart, taking some wires with it. We also got a closer look at the gaping hole by the first floor window. Police say the officers had minor injuries. Veterans day is tomorrow, but one Delaware County community is honoring our vets today in a big way. Crowds braved the cold weather to honor the men and women who have served our country. This is a long tradition here. They have held their veterans day parade for 58 years. Allentown is marking veterans day with the opening of a new facility for all those who have served. The Center Offers health and employment support for vets and active military members. Philadelphia is honoring a fallen vietnam hero with a new Apartment Building for veterans. The city opened the blevens veteran center in spring garden. Blevens gave his life protecting his unit in 1968. He was one of 64 of philadelphias young men killed in vietnam. It will provide low cost homes for veterans and their families. The museum of the American Revolution old city is kicking off veterans Day Celebrations with a free admission deal. Now through sunday, veterans, active duty military and retirees can all get into the museum for free. Throughout the weekend, visitors can write notes thanking the soldiers of today for their service. In delaware, some students were able to hear the stories of war first hand from veterans who fought on the front lines. Tim furlong has the story.
