The suspect was able to shoot the officer in the leg and his brothers and sisters in blue rushed him to the hospital. They rushed to the scene and help and able to come here wishing him well. We heard from a city councilman and the police chief who are hoping for a full recovery this morning. Our heart and prayers going out for a speedy recovery. We know a bad guy had a gun and doing some bad things, our parole officers intercepting him and taken him off the streets and the gun. There would have been a lots worst events taken place tonight. Reporter now the suspect was arrested and in the meantime, the police chief says he was able to talk with the officer and his family last night here at the hospital. The officer is a bit chshaken u.
