New overnight a teenager is in Critical Condition following a shooting in philadelphia. Somebody opened fire on this 16yearold boy and shot him in the neck on cedarbrook avenue just after 10 00 last night. Police have not made any arrests in this case and they have not revealed anything about a motive. Also this morning, authorities are trying to determine how a mans body ended up in the dnr canal in trenton. Skyforce 10 was over the canal near the trenton amtrak station where Police Dive Teams recovered the body around 11 00 last night. Friday night football had some new meaning last night in gloucester county. It was an opportunity for students, parents and educators to all come together to ease tensions following a week of racist displays. It was homecoming at Washington Township high school, and administrators hoped that the Football Game would be the place for the community to come together and unite. Earlier this week hatefilled Text Messages surfaced and a subsequent confrontation among black and white students was caught on camera. The township schools superintendent tells us his office is now forming a Student Coalition to help kids become more culturally sensitive. You treat this job as an educator just as you would as a parent. And when you see your kids hurting, you want to make things better. Once we accept the fact its not going to happen overnight and we stay in the process and we stay strong in this, but were going to let our voices be heard. School administrators are now working with county and state authorities to address the issue. A School Assembly is also in the works. Students at Coatesville High School in Chester County are also trying to calm racial tensions. Yesterday there was a silent show of unity after photos emerged of local teens and students posing with pumpkins carved with a swastika and letters kkk. An investigation revealed two middle School Students from quakertown used racial slur against visiting cheerleaders from cheltonham township. Quakertown Community School superintendent dr. Today, attorney general Jeff Sessions will be in philadelphia to participate in one of the largest annual Police Conferences around the world. In addition to law enforcement, protesters are expected to be there. Two philadelphia women are under arrest charged with attacking a Police Officer inside a 7eleven store in frankfurt. Heres the back story, an employee told police that he believed the suspects whitaker and brown had shoplifted from the store the night before. So when they returned the next day, he asked them to leave. Thats when the women allegedly started punching and kicking the employee. Police say brown grabbed a bottle of lighter fluid and threatened to burn the store down. The employee somehow managed to get outside and lock the women inside the store. When police got there the women took swings at an officer. Whitaker and brown now face multiple charges including aggravated assault and making terroristic threats. Lets head now to southwest philadelphia where neighbors are mourning the loss of a friend killed in a hitandrun crash. This as police are releasing new video of the car involved. Neighbors came together last night to remember 57yearold Richard Brennan who was killed sunday evening crossing the street. Police have released this video of the suspects van. Investigators believe its either a gray Dodge Caravan or a chrysler town country. Its likely to have front end damage and a broken windshield. Investigators say the driver hit Richard Brennan at the intersection of south 67th street and lynnmore avenue on sunday night. Brennan died right there at the scene. Police are asking if you have any information on this to give them a call. This morning, we are learning new details about a street lottery sting in philadelphia that was years in the making. Police say this man gary cray was the master mind behind the operation. They arrested him and eight others yesterday on corruption and conspiracy charges. According to investigators, crays operation would let people place illegal bets on th state lottery ranging from 10 cents to 20. Cray would attract players by offering winners a taxfree 700to1 return. Legal payout is 500to1. As for where all this Illegal Betting was happening police say there were more than three dozen locations across the city. All sites were unmarked buildings run by people in crays organization. Prosecutors accuse cray of pocketing more than 3 million over the last two decades. Philadelphia police are bonding with kids over basketball. We have these clear conditions, just a little spot cloud overhead and that is it for us as we get ready for sunrise this morning. So the Clear Blue Sky is now going to continue the rest of the day. And were on that warming trend still with some of the warmest temperatures weve been seeing expected today. And here is why. We still have that High Pressure, that bubble as i call it, thats built over our area. And this nice little ridge. If youre at the apex of the ridge, if you split this in half, thats the area that usually gets hit with the biggest heating and warmup throughout the day. It just so happens we are right there over it. And so today temperatures are going to rise into the mid and upper 70s for some. Now, check it out, when youve got cooler air like you see over to the west, that will dip on in and thats where you see the cooler temperatures over parts of the pacific northwest. Soon enough this patterns going to change, were going to get some of the cooler air. But for now we have got some of the warmest temps over our region. So here are the highs. 78 for today in center city. And in somerton. Doylestown a high of 76. And mid 70s over parts of the Lehigh Valley, berks county, sunny to mostly sunny. Very light winds today. And low humidity. You cannot complain about this. Thats today, now lets talk sunday into monday because while today were mostly sunny, tomorrow were going to be partly cloudy. So there will start to be scattered clouds rolling in. 74 in philly, cooler, 74 as well in the suburbs. 72 for Lehigh Valley and 69 at the jersey shore. By monday possibly another little increase in temperatures. That warm air that surges in ahead of a cold front. We are mostly cloudy though. And by late in the day we could even see a spot shower over the Lehigh Valley. So, again, today our warmest temps a little dip sunday and then a little back up monday and all three days we start to see increasing cloud coverage. How about monday night for the eagles game . And then by 11 00 we may start to see some spot showers rolling in ahead of that cold front i mentioned. Which is really going to impact us on tuesday. So as a whole the game looks pretty good.
