Million people crews are shutting down and Business Owners are closing up shop. Its already being blamed for more than 20 deaths earlier this week as it ripped through Central America as a Tropical Storm. Obviously, no one should take this storm lightly. It has proven to be very deadly. Its going to hit you hard, hit you fast. And if youre in the way, youre not fog to be able to get out of it. People have been stocking up on necessities ahead of the storm. Now that its here, theyre hunkered down. Here to time out the storm and whats happening right now, glen. Yeah, denise, that fast motion very unusual to be this fast. Its making the storm kind of out of balance. So all of the rain and the strong winds and the storm surge on the right side, new orleans has really gotten off lucky here. The center of it you can see the center as it goes close to biloxi, mississippi. It did hit the edge of louisiana earlier, so made one official landfall. Its about to make a second landfall in louisiana. 85 miles an hour max winds now. Still moving fast, north at 20 miles an hour. That limits the total amount of rain thats going to happen. But it will move inland as a Tropical Storm, take a lot of that rain with it and some wind. Still a Tropical Storm tomorrow morning. Ask then by monday its getting close enough to us to bring a lot of that moisture. Remember the worst of it is on the right side of the track. That means that were going to get our share of rain and even some gusty winds, too. Ill time that out for you coming up in a few minutes. And coming up at 11 15, well have a live report from alabama with where the hurricane is right now. Well, the yellow crime scene tape is gone, but the fear remains in the mantua neighborhood. The man who shot a beloved storeowner is still on the run tonight. The woman neighbors call mama is still in the hospital. A man walked into the shop last night. He demanded money, but when he couldnt get any, he shot the victim before running off. Neighbors rushed to help her as she was bleeding on the floor of her store. When she said mama, the owner is bleeding, i threw my purse into the house and thats when she moved her head and i saw the bullet hole spurting blood. Tonight the store is closed and Police Continue to search for the shooter. Tonight a note found in the las vegas shooters hotel room is giving a us a possible look into his deadly plan before it happened. Multiple sources telenbc news that papers with numbers written on them were found in that room. And it they believe it could have been calculations of shooting range and distance for higher precision during the attack. Police say theyve looked to more than 1,000 leads so far, but still no answers as to why the gunman did it. Vice president mike pence and his wife visited the Vegas Shooting site today. The couple walking through a memorial and left white roses by markers with the victims names on them. It followed a speech of unity delivered by the Vice President inside city hall. Those lives were taken before their time, but their names and stories will forever be etched into the hearts of the american people. The Vice President s remarks culminated a prayer walk in memory of the 58 People Killed and nearly 500 last weekend. After the speech, doves were released on the steps of city hall. Jay gray is live in mobile, alabama, where its under a state of emergency tonight, jay. Reporter were getting a bit of a break from the rain. Its been intense at times. This is just the beginning of whats going to be a rough time over night here. The storm did make landfall near the mouth of the mississippi river, just brushing across the southern most tip of louisiana and back out into the gulf. Its going to make a second landfall later in the evening somewhere near the mississippi, alabama border. Well see intense rains, winds at 85 to 90 miles an hour. And the storm surge is big concern especially here in the mobile area, at mobile bay and we have been told we could see a storm surge of 5 to 10 feet. If thats the case, it could do significant damage here. At one point the fastest moving storm ever in the gulf. That means its going to be moving out quickly. Forecasters tell us by sunrise tomorrow were going to see clear skies. Its supposed to be a beautiful day. Hard to believe, but back to you. Thank you, jay. Lets bring in now meteorologist Glenn Schwartz and what it means for us. This ones moving faster than any other storm in the gulf. And that has prevented it from strengthening anymore than it has. You can see plenty of moisture, waves coming in on the right side of this. New orleans has really gotten off lucky. Coming right in off towards biloxi, mississippi where many famous hurricanes have hit before. Coming in we have a front approaching, and that could bring some showers later tomorrow. Tomorrow night the computer models continue to be in agreement taking it up towards the ohio valley and then into pennsylvania. But the general trend is a little bit farther to the left, meaning we would get less rainout of it than if it would come straight at us. Also meaning that the shore points in delaware would get less rain than the lee high valley and our pennsylvania suburbs. There are few showers there for sunday morning. And then things are pretty quiet. Each computer model over the last couple of days has shown less and less rain for sunday. And so we may be getting pretty frpt fortunate in that regard. But we need rain, and were going to get it. And its coming on monday. And thats the nate rainfall. Some of it on the very heavy side, but because its moving very fast, it cant last all that long. As far as the eagles are concerned, the lowering chances of rain through the game. Upper 70s, near 80, kind of humid, too. Unusually warm and humid for football. Just a chance generally of a light shower. Im not concerned about a steady rain or thunderstorms or anything like that. Look at that. 80 degrees in the fourth quarter, 78 degrees. So if we get any thunderstorms tomorrow itll be most likely at night. We could get some showers first thing in the morning, and then the temperatures are still up there. Vorhees, robinsville, dover, newark, 80 degrees as well. So we have some amazing weather continuing. Look at that, another three days where were close to 80. Some showers possible on wednesday, and then we start cooling down. Only 67 on thursday. And look at next weekend. We warm up again, and we could be back near 80 degrees at least by next sunday.
