Reporter this woman is also in limbo checking her phone every minute. Her mother and sister dealing with the massive storm. This disaster not doing her health any favors. I have high Blood Pressure so imagine how my pressure is, okay . I dont sleep. I dont eat. Reporter it could take months and months to rebuild, a fact not lost on the head of the Hispanic Agency concilio and member of the 25group committee looking to raise money for maria. People in puerto rico are devastated. And this is the most important time right now that we show solidarity. Back over at freddy and tonys, work is a much needed distraction for perez as she hopes for that text or phone call to ease her mind. I cry. I think the worst. Its somewhere upwards of a dozen islands in the caribbean that have been flattened between irma and maria. And then you add into that what happened with harvey. You add into the key islands. Florida keys and then go into florida, georgia, and south carolina. And this has been a very rough season with very powerful hurricanes. You can see now the eye is becoming a little bit more well formed. It is about 112 miles from the turks and caicos. Its moving off to the northwest at about 9 miles an hour. Its not good its getting such a nice, clear eye again. That means its reintensifying. Its moving over very warm water as well. This is a category 3 storm. 120 mileanhour wind storm. It will be over the turks and caicos tomorrow. Early in the morning through about midday. Then it should track east of the bahamas which is good news for the bahamas. It should stay between bermuda and the u. S. Mainland. And downgraded to around a category 1. It may stay, too, further north. The water starts to cool here and its not as favorable conditions. This cone has straightened out a little bit. Could make it up further into the north atlantic. Were going to be watching. This is the european model, what goes on with this. You can see this is the track right now that it is believed to take. This is just a future cast model. But it does keep it off shore. Then it takes it off to the north and the east. Well see high surf. Well see more beach erosion and dangerous rip currents. If thats all we see, well be quite lucky. Well talk more about the steamy forecast when i come back in a few minutes. Philadelphias Puerto Rican Community is coming together to help people on the zef stadevas island. Announced plans for fund raising at this sundays puerto rican day parade. Those plans will include a telethon at the parade. Philadelphia has one of the largest puerto ri can populations in the country. 8 of the city has tied to the island. Mexican military officials now say there are no children under a collapsed mexico city school. Their rescue became the focus of First Responders and people around the world. Officials now say all of the children have been accounted for. But they believe an adult could be trapped and still alive. And this just in. We have now learned the death toll is up to at least 273 people. That includes the 21 School Children and 5 adults in mexico city. Here at home, local response crews are training to react to natural disasters. Just like the earthquake in mexico. Collapsed rescue 2 is a specialized unit of the camden city fire department. Today they showed us the tools, technology, and heavy rescue resources crews in mexico city are also using. They say no matter how bad it looks, the goal is to keep hope that victims are still alive. We know that were there to rescue people. We know that as soon as were there, its you know, its a sense of satisfaction once we get to them knowing we can get them out especially alive. Hurricane maria becoming a more well defined eye. And this storm is now moving off to the north and the east. Or north and the west. And the Spaghetti Models bring it out into the atlantic off shore.
